PROJECT: RIMOWA

BRIEF: R&D - create a story focused animation where the concept references both the journey of the product from delivery to use, but also plays on the idea that luggage has an innate desire to travel. Here the product finds its own way to the airport and pulls the viewer along. The illustrated look was both a reference to vintage travel artwork and global travel magazines such as Monocle which heavily use illustration. The city and airport takes inspiration from multiple references but aims to never feel quite like one city or location.
